arrival at the club
Upon your arrival, please check in with our Front Gate Attendant. We ask that you then proceed to our Valet Station at the main entrance to the Clubhouse. Our Valet Parking Staff will help you with your clubs and any other belongings that you may need for your day here at Magna Golf Club.
Dress Regulations
Proper attire must be worn at all times by members and their guests in all areas of the clubhouse and golf course as outlined below:
Golf shirts must have either a collar or sleeves. Tank tops are not permitted on the golf course. Shorts, skorts and skirts of reasonable length are permitted. Hats must be worn with the bill facing forward, and may be worn on the lower floor, but are to be removed on the main floor, in the Lounge and the Dining Room. Please ensure that golf shoes are clean when entering the clubhouse.
Golf shirts must have a collar or be golf fashionable. Long slacks or Bermuda shorts are permitted. T-shirts are not allowed, however turtlenecks, including “mock” turtlenecks are permitted. Hats must be worn with the bill facing forward, and may be worn on the lower floor, but are to be removed on the main floor, in the Lounge and the Dining Room. Soft-spiked golf shoes are permitted everywhere in the clubhouse, excluding the Dining Room. Please ensure that golf shoes are clean when entering the clubhouse.
Cargo shorts and gym attire is not permitted on the golf course, the practice hospit or the putting green.
“Smart Casual” attire is permitted in the Dining Room. For gentlemen, shirts must have a collar or be fashionable. Jackets are not required but preferred in the Dining Room. Shorts and flip flops are not permitted in the Dining Room. Clean, non-torn or frayed, trouser length dark denim jeans are permitted in the clubhouse. Hats are not to be worn in the Dining Room.
Cellular Telephone Use
Please be reminded that there is a private telephone booth located on the main floor of the clubhouse and that the use of mobile devices is discouraged anywhere on Club property. In particular, we ask that you refrain from using mobile devices in the dining room at any time. If a telephone must be left on while dining, please ensure that it is set to silent or vibrate and that you NOT engage in conversation while in the room. When on the course, please ensure that your telephone is set to silent or vibrate. Our staff has been asked to enforce this policy to help protect the peaceful environment that the Club provides.
gratuities
Effective January 11th 2023, a 15% gratuity will be applied to all Food & Beverage sales. Direct tipping of staff and cash gratuities is not permitted.
Tipping of caddies is permitted and welcomed. Caddies may be tipped directly or on account through the Golf Shop.
